Robin Taggart Hannigan, SRA is certified and has a wide range of experience with a multitude of property types and appraisal products. She is state certified to perform both residential and general appraisals. Robin is experienced in single family and multifamily properties as well as vacant land and agricultural tracts. She is authorized by HUD to perform FHA appraisals and by the Department of Veterans Affairs to perform VA appraisals. Clients include banks, credit unions, Appraisal Management Companies, relocation companies, attorneys, accountants, realtors, the U.S. Government (USDA, Rural Development, GSA, FDIC), Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, City of Topeka, Shawnee County, Jefferson County, State of Kansas, Supreme Court of Kansas, and the District Court of Shawnee County. We are admitted as expert witnesses in the Federal and District Court systems.

SRA stands for Senior Residential Appraiser, and is the most prestigious designation for residential appraisers conferred by the Appraisal Institute. SRA Designated members agree to adhere to the Appraisal Institute code of professional ethics and standards of professional appraisal practice, underscoring their commitment to sound and ethical professional practice. These requirements are in excess of state certification requirements.
To become a SRA Designated member of the Appraisal Institute, an individual must:

Have good moral character;

Meet standards and ethics requirements;

Pass rigorous education requirements and a series of six exams;

Submit 4000 hours of residential appraisal experience which must meet strict criteria;

Receive credit for a demonstration report proving knowledge in all three approaches to value as well as depreciation influences;

Hold a 4 year degree from an accredited college or university
